Space Policy and Research Center (SPARC)

SPARC launched at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2017. With an eye on the global context, SPARC aims to draw on the competences of the College of Engineering and the College of Arts & Sciences to advance the next-generation space workforce and to create a UW-centered hub for education, research, and policy outreach in Washington State. To more holistically serve the UW faculty, student body, as well as national and international audiences, it brings together both the STEM and Law & Policy aspects of contemporary outer space affairs.
